This first image is of Ben Lomond, shot from across Loch Lomond at Tarbet.The loch was dead calm and a stunning location as we stopped off for a comfort break on the way between Bruce's in Greenock and our planned eventual destination of Glencoe.
The roads were all clear but very twisty and winding and not my favourite type of road to drive with so many gorgeous distractions on route.
